The veteran BJP leader should have told Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah that lying and back-stabbing perhaps comes more easily to the ruling dispensation in the latter’s State.
History will testify to the Chief Minister’s grandfather, Sheikh Abdullah’s treachery. He had colluded with the US to establish an ‘Independent Kashmir’ which was outside the purview of the Indian State. Mr Abdullah needs to read up more on Indian history. The days of petty potentates and mini sultans are long over. Kashmir was, is and will remain an inalienable part of India. The BJP should make it clear in its manifesto that Article 370 will be repealed and Kashmir will be truly integrated with the rest of the country.
