This refers to the report, “Even Modi will lose poll in 2019: Rahul” (April 9). It is incredible that someone, who hypocritically proclaims that he does not hate any one, singles out Prime Minister Narendra Modi as his sole object of hatred, seemingly out of juvenile jealousy of the latter’s immense mass popularity. Rahul, in a pseudo-astrologer’s avatar, asserts that the BJP is “sure to lose in 2019 lok Sabha polls” if “the Congress, the BSP and SP united against him”. It’s tragic that the Congress president, instead of concentrating his youthful energies to revive his party, now reduced to a rump status of 40-plus MPs in the lok Sabha from over 400 in his father’s time, is obsessed with his agenda to defeat Modi.
