Sir — This refers to the report, “SHO pays price for gifting Radhe Maa seat” (October 6). Undoubtedly, India is a secular democratic country and, therefore, the station house officer’s (SHO) action of succumbing to religious honchos is outrageous to the secular provisions of our Constitution. Religious leaders too are eager for an unassailable dominion of the country, with clandestine support by hypocritical politicians/bureaucrats and other influential celebrities.
