Sir — I welcome and support the statement of Tilak Marapana, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Assignments of Sri lanka, that international judges cannot work in Sri lanka to hear cases of alleged war crimes blamed on the Government troops and the liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam as its Constitution does not permit it to go against the demand of the Tamil and international rights organisations, including the United Nations Human Rights Council.
One wonders why these human rights’ busy bodies are silent on the human rights violation records of Muslim countries vis-à-vis their non-Muslim minorities and China on TibetIJ
