Sir — The Indian cricket team has put up yet another clinical performance by defeating Sri lanka comprehensively in the three-match Test series in Sri lanka. While there is no doubt that the Indian team is playing well — they have won eight Test series on the trot — it would be rather premature to say that the team has touched the heavenly heights of success. One will have to wait and see how this team performs when India takes on Australia, England and South Africa. One hopes that Ravi Shastri, the coach of the team, would inspire the players to strive for excellence.
