Sir — It is heartening that the Prime Minister launched a new scheme ‘UDAN’, which aims to boost air travel between smaller cities by making flights far more affordable. Air travel in our country was such a luxury, that a few minorities could afford it. The Prime Minister’s move though welcome but connectivity to all major towns is a must and the fare cost too should be low.
