Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Unpardonable conduct” (March 25). Though it is a well known fact that most of our MPs have criminal records and are facing many charges, including that of murder, the goondaism exhibited by Ravindra Gaikwad, the Shiv Sena MP, is atrocious and unpardonable.
Worse, the MP, instead of apologising, has sent a letter to the lok Sabha Speaker, seeking an inquiry into the episode and has sought an apology from the chairman of Air India. It is a matter of shame that people have elected such a person who has behaved worse than an animal to represent them in Parliament.
