Sir — This refers to the editorial, “The Ayodhya challenge” (March 23). The so-called seculars and leftists must stop fomenting communal feelings for vote-bank politics. The Uttar Pradesh Assembly election results must have served as a lesson for them. They must understand that gone are the days when they could remain in power by appeasing the minorities. Once these group stop siding with the Muslim fanatics, ways for mutual settlement of the Ayodhya issue will eventually come out.
