Sir — This refers to the article, “Demonetisation brigade silenced” (January 23)by Sanju Verma. The Government’s demonetisation move is a step in the right direction to free the economy from all evils. Most of us have experienced difficulties, but these are now ending and the country, and peoples will soon receive benefit on all fronts.
Demonetisation alone cannot eliminate black money, but it will surely contain it to a large extent, and Prime Minister Modi has promised more strikes on black money and corruption. The Opposition has criticised this move vehemently because it must criticise everything that the BJP Government does.
