Sir — This refers to Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati’s allegation that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s demonetisation move has turned 90 per cent Indians into fakirs (beggars).
It is disheartening that opposition parties have come together to critise demonetisation move of the Government in one way or the other. They have also stalled Parliament for over 14 days now.
There can be no doubt that people are facing difficulties for drawing their hard-earned money. But the Opposition failed miserably to guide the Government and the people in mitigating these difficulties.
