Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Needless accusations” (November 16). Relations between India and Pakistan have plunged in the last few months. Restraint is not a virtue that can be practiced without regard to the context and circumstances. India has never bowed before terrorism and will never do so.
Pakistan’s own pampered terrorist outfits are their prime enemy, they should first demolish them. Islamabad must understand that terrorism is always a necrosis and should be detached from its roots. On the other hand, India needs a comprehensive national policy to deal with domestic militancy as well as cross-border terrorism.
