Sir — Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan has rightly advised the students not to fall prey to unscrupulous schools which leave them with high debt and useless degrees. The dismal quality of education is what makes the students self-dependent when it comes to enhancing their skills.
There are a number of private schools, colleges and institutions that are imparting poor standards of education, but are yet successful in attracting students in droves. Moreover, such institutions are not affiliated to any university.
