Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Shameful and tragic” (May 7). Kerala once had the highest literary rate in our country, but has now lost its ethical credentials and moral certitude. Sexual assault, crime and murder of women have exceeded the national average.
Obviously, the Oommen Chandy Government has not been able to contain, control and curb the increasing incidents of rape and violence in the State. love for power has blinded the present dispensation.
