Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Terror re-visits Europe” (March 24). The deadly terrorist attack in Brussels illustrates the capacity of the Islamic State to wreak havoc across continents.
The terror attack in Brussels has brought to fore the need for a well-coordinated response from the international community in order to neutralise extremist movements like the Islamic State and Boko Haram.
The surge of the Islamic State has to be stopped considering the enormity of tragedies that has convulsed a part of the world. Barbaric attacks like these cannot be easily forgiven. We all should condemn such attacks.
