This refers to the editorial, “Violence not justified” (February 17). The editorial has rightly advised to let law take its own course with regards to the affairs at the Jawaharlal Nehru University. The violence witnessed outside the Patiala House court is unfortunate and must be condemned. The after-effects of such incidents are deplorable.
Delhi Police should be taking action against the culprits. In this connection, the Opposition, mainly the Congress and the Communist Party of India (Marxist), is taking undue and unjustified advantage by spreading division in the name of freedom of expression.
