Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, during an interaction with the students of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai, expressed his views against politicians playing cricket-politics by directly or indirectly controlling cricket bodies. Mr Gandhi must first ensure that his own party members like Mr Rajiv Shukla, Mr CP Joshi and others quit cricket-politics. It is useless to talk on matters which cannot be adhered to practically.
likewise, if he is so much enthusiastic about the Goods and Services Tax Bill, his party should have discussed the GST Bill in Parliament and put amendments for voting, rather than disrupting Parliament on the issue and doing enormous harm to the nation.
