This refers to the editorial, “This language stinks” (December 17). The CBI raid on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Principal Secretary’s office and locations is shameful and points out to the fact that the Modi Government is misusing the central agency.
At a time when the Aam Aadmi Party is willing to join hands with the Centre, to tackle rising air pollution levels in the capital, such an insult is bound to win people’s sympathy for Mr Kejriwal.
That said, a Chief Minister calling an elected Prime Minister a “coward” and a “psychopath” brings us to a new low in Indian politics. Mr Kejriwal is known to be a polite, righteous person, who vowed to fight corruption. Sadly, politics has had its impact on him; he has at least lost his temper.
