Sir — In order to save planet Earth from the vagaries of climate change, the need of the hour is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. And for this, we must learn and inspire others to save maximum electricity.
Second, we must encourage people, going to a common area for business or job, to develop a habit of carpools. This will reduce the emission of carbon monoxide to a great extent.
Third, industrialisation should be minimised. All the industries should have a mechanism of ‘pollution under complete control.’
Fourth, maximum encouragement should be given to organic farming. And finally, we must plant and conserve saplings and trees as a matter of habit.
