Sir — This refers to the editorial, “An agitationist exposed” (November 28). That the agitation by the Patels in Gujarat was supported by political forces, has been vindicated after Congress leader Shankersinh Vaghela’s acknowledgement that his party had extended “guidance” to the agitationists.
The Congress, after being banished from Gujarat, is resorting to low-level politics so as to inflict harm to the BJP in the civic poll. Had the Congress been in the driver’s seat in Gujarat, would it have succumbed to the ‘justified’ demand of the PatelsIJ
