This refers to the article, “long winter ahead to tackle terrorism” (November 19) by Hiranmay Karlekar. The author has thrown sufficient light on the catastrophic shadow of the Islamic State. Terrorist organisations like the Taliban, Boko Haram and the laskhar-e-Tayyeba have been looming large over the world. It is time that the world unites to tackle this new menace.
