This refers to the editorial, “The grand comeback” (November 9). After a major defeat in the 2014 lok Sabha elections, the Congress, the Janata Dal (United) and the Rashtriya Janata Dal got together and formed the grand alliance, to give a major blow to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP. The arithmetic has somehow worked.
However, the BJP has the highest vote-share. It is time for the BJP to introspect. Moreover, it remains to be seen how Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar governs.
