This refers to the article, “Balancing innovation and employment” (November 7) by Ashok Malik. The article talks well about the evolution of the organised service sector in education, hospitality, healthcare both domiciliary and institutional, logistics etc, but it fails to bring a solution to the problems of the non-industrial sector.
Moreover, I think the present Government is not doing enough to lay a good foundation to provide equitable job opportunities and to regulate the same. This can create a backlash sooner than later.
