Sir — In the passing away of APJ Abdul Kalam, India has lost one of its tallest sons of the 21st century, whose ideas, life and works will continue to inspire generations to come. India’s Missile Man and ‘people’s President’, as he was lovingly called, will remain alive in the hearts of millions of people. Kalam brought life and dignity to everything he did and every position he held.
As he wished, so he lived —a teacher till his last breath. A great dreamer, he said in the Song of Youth, which he dedicated to India, that “small aim is a crime”.
The President dedicated his life to the cause of nation-building and kept working to see India progress on the path of development. He not only had a vision for a developed India but had a blueprint of how to achieve this within a given timeframe. He was himself an institution and a great motivator. Our tribute to the great man would be carry forward his mission for a strong and prosperous India
