Sir — It was a rare show of magnanimity by former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, now joint-secretary of the Cricket Association of Bengal, to announce that he would give away the BCCI pension for this year to the deceased Bengal cricketer Ankit Keshri’s family. Further, he has also reportedly decided to use the future pension amount to fund the treatment of CAB-registered injured players.
