Sir — This refers to the editorial, “‘I, me and mine’ AAP” (March 30). Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal’s mishandling of the party’s internal turbulence is obvious from the ouster of its founding members Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav and internal lokpal Admiral l Ramdas. This will have an adverse bearing on Mr Kejriwal’s public image. These developments, including the alleged ‘sting’ during the weekend, have shown the AAP in a negative light. A party, supposedly known for being different, has turned out to be a bird of the same feather. Its members have all the same problems, complacence and ego that come with gaining power. This crisis is a litmus test for Mr Kejriwal: Will he be able to save his party from the fragmentation that his detractors are desperately driving at, establish his political sagacity by building consensus with the AAP’s founding members, address the party’s internal problems in an amicable fashion, and resolve them in a pragmatic wayIJ
