Sir — This refers to the article, “The Curious Case of Teesta’s Bail Petition” (March 25) by Rajesh Singh. Rather than getting worked up about Ms Teesta Setalvad, the judges should be concerned about the crores of miserable souls waiting for justice for ages. In Ms Setalvad’s case, it is not that ‘justice delayed is justice denied’, but ‘justice speeded up is justice denied’. It is amusing that the activist, who until recently visited TV studios, spewing venom against ‘communal forces’ and Mr Narendra Modi, is now scurrying around the courts to avoid arrest.
