Sir — This refers to former Delhi Chief Minister and Congress leader Sheila Dikshit’s remark that the BJP had done “frightful things” in its seven-month rule so far. It is apparent from her statement that she does not have the heart to campaign for her party in the coming Delhi Assembly election, but will do so if compelled. She realises it is a lost case for her party and, therefore, it is best to keep on making irresponsible remarks.
Her complaint regarding the issuance of ordinances is hollow, because all Governments at the Centre and the States, including that of the Congress, have promulgated ordinances at one time or the other ,since they considered it necessary at the given point in time.
