Sir — Intelligence agencies and the Coast Guard, who prevented a possible terror strike by intercepting a Pakistani boat, deserve rich compliments. The boat, 365km off Porbandar, which began its journey from Karachi, is said to have ended up in flames by a fire set by the boat crew. Even when its own country is burning, Pakistan has been doing precious little to douse the fire. Instead, it is more interested in troubling India in more ways than one.
No amount of evidence given to Pakistan would be of any help. At the most, Pakistan will say that the terrorists were not sent by it. If the backbone of terrorism is to be broken, the United Nations should pressure Pakistan not to indulge in hostile activities against any country. The UN should also step in to help India in dismantling terror camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
