Sir — This refers to the editorial, “India’s global leader” (September 29). Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the US has gone off excellently and has been well-received by the international media as well. Since Mr Modi’s Government has the people’s clear mandate to last a full five years in office, this visit has added more importance. The Prime Minister has struck the right chord by asking Americans to invest in India, which can in turn help the Indian economy to grow faster.
