Sir — This refers to the completion of two years in office of the Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party Government in Uttar Pradesh.
The debutant Chief Minister has put in his best efforts to come up to the people’s expectations. He succeeded in shedding his party’s luddite image as also in putting the State back on the track to development after some initial setbacks on the law and order front. The unfortunate Muzaffarnagar incident has had a bearing on the party’s image, but the issue was handled well subsequently.
