Yogi to lead UP MlAs to highlight PM's feats in Bihar

BJP lawmakers from Uttar Pradesh will visit the neighbouring State of Bihar to spread the message of good governance and pro-people and pro-poor policies launched by the Modi Government in the last three years.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will take the lead as he would be holding a rally in Darbhanga on June 15 and address ‘Modi Fest’ — a programme organised to highlight achievements of the Union Government.

According to sources, the CM would be on a two-day visit to Bihar and is also expected to address a rally in Patna but the programme has not been finalised yet.

On the other hand, Deputy Chief Minister and UP BJP chief Keshav Prasad Maurya will visit Nalanda to address a public rally. Incidentally, Nalanda is the home district of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

BJP general secretary Salil Bishnoi said in lucknow on Thursday that senior BJP leaders will be going all over the country and the visits of the CM and Deputy CM to Bihar were part of the campaign.

Meanwhile, the decision of UP Ministers and legislators touring Bihar comes in the backdrop of a possible tie up of SP and BSP and leaders of both parties likely to share dias in Patna on August 27.
