Realising that the epithet Rs goondo ki party’ hurts Samajwadi Party the most, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath coined a slogan saying "Jis gari par Samajwadi Party ka jhanda ho, us gari me koi goonda hoga", hitting SP where it hurts the most.
Yogi made this statement in Azamgarh, the parliamentary constituency of Akhilesh Yadav.
“The Samajwadi Party is the party of goonda. Take my word, any car having an SP flag has a goonda sitting in it,” Yogi said and added that the entire opposition had unleashed atrocities on the poor of the state during their regimes.
Reminding the atrocities on the poor in Rampur under the SP government, Yogi accused Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party of being silent and said that at that time the Bharatiya Janata Party was fighting against the oppression.
The chief minister also handed over cheques to the beneficiaries of various government schemes, golden cards of Ayushman Yojana, and homes to women.
The programme was held in the Sagri area of the district. The chief minister said that 1,02,415 people in the district were given free electricity connections and 7.21 lakh farmers were given Kisan Samman Nidhi.
