A28-year-old man was arrested on Friday on the charge of raping a 26-year-old woman for two years on the pretext of marriage. The incident was reported from East Delhi's Jagatpuri area.
According to police, the victim lives with her family in Kotla Mubarakpur and work as a back stage dancer and is also a struggling actress. She met the accused Vipul Juneja at a private company.The accused on the pretext of marriage had repeated raped her since July 2012, the woman claimed. However, Vipul refused to marry her following which she called the police. A case under Section 376 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at Jagatpuri police station.
