The BJP on Tuesday taunted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over his “growing closeness” with the Congress and wondered whether the JD(U) leader too would launch UPA’s Food Security Bill in his State on Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary.
Several Congress- ruled States have announced to roll out the scheme on the birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister. “A new devotee utters the lord’s name loudly. JD(U) is a new ally of the Congress, therefore, it is taking their names loudly. We would like to ask if they will implement food security in Bihar on Rajiv Gandhi’s birthday,” Hussain asked the Bihar CM. Kumar has supported the bill “in principle”, providing a relief to the Congress.
