It’s been one day since he walked out the NDA and JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav has already set the ball rolling, saying that they would consider a return if senior BJP leader lK Advani gets back at the helm.
“Advani aye to dekha jayega (We will see if Advani returns),” Yadav told reporters on Monday before going to a JD(U) meeting at CM Nitish Kumar’s residence.
“We had fought 2009 elections projecting Advani as our prime ministerial candidate,” he pointed out. Yadav asked mediapersons to ask BJP leaders about this (Advani’s return at helm of party affairs). “He (Advani) has been sidelined within the party,” he said.
