The suicide case of a police sub-inspector S Prabhakar Reddy at Kukkanur police station on Wednesday has taken a new twist with the investigators suspecting its links with a case of sexual abuse. In his suicide note the SI blamed his seniors for harassment and driving him to suicide. Police officials said they were suspecting that the suicide by the young SI was linked to the suicide of a model and beautician Srisha. Srisha, who works for a wedding photographer Rajiv Vallabhanaini, was found hanging in his office in the wee hours of Tuesday. Banjara Hills police in Hyderabad said that the Rajiv, Srisha and another friend Shravan had visited Kukkanurpally police station on Monday night to meet Prabhakar Reddy as he was Rajiv's friend. According to Rajiv's statement, the meeting was to solve an issue among Rajiv, Srisha and Shravan. During the discussion, the SI had sent the two male friends out on the pretext of talking to the girl in privacy. But a few minutes later she came out of the room crying and the trio returned to Hyderabad. Even as Rajiv was parking the car outside his office Sirisha went up and hanged herself. later, Prabhakar Reddy called Rajiv on Tuesday and asked him not to drag his name in the controversy.
