Vaiko, leader of MDMK, has issued a strongly worded ultimatum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP to stop all kinds of dealings with Sri lanka and its president Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Speaking to reporters at Chennai on Monday, Vaiko, who claims to have addressed a Tamil Eelam meeting at Malaysia last week, said he himself would appear before the Colombo High Court and argue for the five fishermen from Tamil Nadu who have been sentenced to death last month on charges of drug trafficking to the island nation.
The MDMK leader, whose only mission is to carve out a separate Eelam nation in Sri lanka, asked the PM not to shake hands with President Rajapaksa whom the former alleged as the brain behind the 'massacre' of the Tamils in Sri lanka. "I see many political brokers are being send from New Delhi to Colombo. I warn the PM against this kind of anti-Tamil activities," said Vaiko.
