With an aim to strengthen secondary education in the State, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that his Government will develop model schools on the lines of Navodaya Vidyalayas and if need be these would be affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
“The State Government is committed to improve education standard in State-run schools. We are of the firm belief that a State can progress only if the children and the youth are educated. The light of knowledge dispels superstition and make a State and a country strong,” Yadav said during a review meeting of the secondary education here on Thursday.
