In a bid to resolve the water crisis in the Capital, Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Minister Shivpal Yadav has offered to help Delhi on the water issue while Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is likely to meet Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal in the first week of April to discuss the controversial Munak Canal issue.
This has been decided during a meeting of Upper Yamuna Canal meeting convened by Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti. The CMs of five States — Delhi, HP, Punjab, Haryana and UP — attended the meeting.
