Showering Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with praises for setting up a strong foundation for a trillion-dollar economy, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said that Uttar Pradesh of today would define India of tomorrow.
"The success of India depends on the success of UP, and Chief Minister Yogi’s good governance has laid the perfect foundation for a trillion-dollar economy," Adani said at the groundbreaking ceremony 3.0 in Lucknow.
He said the simple and disciplined lifestyle of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his ability to make decisions and implement them was exemplary. He said the spirit of cooperation and professionalism among the officers was also commendable.
Adani assured an investment of Rs 70,000 crore in the state which would provide direct and indirect employment to 30,000 people. Out of this, an investment of Rs 35,000 crore includes multimodal logistics, Rs 24,000 crore investment in road and infrastructure and South Asia's largest ammunition complex in Kanpur.
Adani said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was building an India which was making the country an economic power in the world. “At the same time, India's old glory is also being fully established on the global stage,” he added.
“As the chief minister, he implemented the economic model in Gujarat. For the last eight years as the prime minister, he has implemented it in the whole country a model that is sustainable and durable,” Adani said.
Adani concluded his speech with a few lines that read, “Main soch bhi badalta hun, main nazariya bhi badalta hun, badalta nahi kuch to mai lakshya nahi badalta hun.”
