The nephew of an Uttar Pradesh Minister was finally arrested, allegedly for trying to ram his car into a group of restaurant workers for refusing to serve him, police said on Friday.
The Minister’s nephew was earlier booked for making an attempt on the lives of hotel staff besides damaging the hotel’s property.
Bareilly’s Superintendent of Police (City) Rahul Bhatti, on Friday, confirmed to media persons that during the probe into the incident, they arrested the accused, Amit Kumar Saxena, on Thursday evening. While Saxena was arrested, his two aides have been detained, he added.
