The Uttar Pradesh Government, through its industrial development authorities, has allotted nearly 1,100 plots for projects which will attract the investment of around Rs 9,700 crore.
The investments have the potential to generate nearly 2 lakh jobs, authorities said. Uttar Pradesh has got second rank under the Ease of Doing Business Scheme this year. Special policy has also been made in 22 industrial sectors to boost the infrasturcture.
