UP CM says ready to demand CBI probe into Manoj Vashishth case

UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has assured a delegation that he would write a letter to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh demanding a CBI probe into the killing of Manoj Vashishth in New Delhi.The assurance was given after a delegation of Manoj Vashisht Nyay Sangharsh Samiti met the CM  demanding  a CBI probe into the killing of Manoj and to provide security to his family members.

Expressing grief over the incident, the CM said that he will soon appeal to the Centre for CBI probe.Manoj Vashisht, a native of Baghpat district was killed at  the Ratna Sagar resturant in Rajendra Nagar in New Delhi on May 20 last. Victim’s wife Priyanka had already demanded a CBI probe into the fake encounter of her husband.
