Under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Narendra Modi, all the Sikh families will live with the spirit of brotherhood in Gujarat and the Sikh have always co-operated in the development of the State. Gujarat has always had a positive viewpoint for the Sikh society, said Member of Parliament Navjot Singh Sidhu.

A religious meeting was organised in the premises of the sacred Gurdwara of the Sikh society at lakhpat village in Kutch, wherein Navjot Singh Sidhu addressed a large gathering in his unique style of verses and poems.

“Modi is the man of the era. He has created Gujarat and no other place has as much peace and security as Gujarat has. All the 45,000 Sikhs have co-operated in the development of this State and most importantly, for the Sikh farmers, we have intense sympathy,’’ said the former cricketer adding that recently, the Sikh farmers’ issue is in the Supreme Court and since it’s the matter of legal procedures and policies, the law itself will decide upon it but being a Sikh, he is standing by the farmers of his community.

“The State Government has to be abided by the law and being a Sikh MP, it’s my duty to ensure that the State Government rightly persuades the truth along with keeping sympathy over the Sikh people,” said Sidhu.
