Two days after a 15-year-old committed suicide in East Delhi’s Karawal nagar area, two Delhi Police personnel have been suspended with regard to the case.
Head Constable Ankit and constable Ramesh had brought the child to the police station despite the fact that he was a minor. Both of them have been suspended pending enquiry.
The family members of the deceased had alleged that the officials had illegally taken their child to the police station and had also demanded Rs10,000 to shut the case.
