later, they dropped the girl off outside her village and sped-off. The victim managed to reach  home and narrated the ordeal to her parents. The victim’s parents contacted the police for help. The police tried to hush up the case as it showed the police in a bad light, however, the victim’s family managed to contact the district police chief and subsequently, a case was lodged against both the constables.

Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar ordered  the suspension of both the constables who are absconding after the incident. On the complaint by the mother of the girl, an FIR number 8/15 was registered against them under Section 594, 506, 367 and 376(D) of the IPC.
