A prominent TV anchor ended her life in Hyderabad by jumping from her apartment building late last night. 30-year -old Radhika Reddy, an anchor with Telugu TV channel V6 left a suicide note behind saying, “my brain is my enemy. That is why I am committing suicide”. The note found on her body said that nobody was responsible for her death.
According to the Kukatpally police inspector Bhujanga Rao, Radhika Reddy returned to her fifth floor apartment at Sushil Apartments at Moosapet at around at1030 pm from her office and some time later jumped from the terrace.
Police inspector said that anchor, a divorcee, was suffering from depression. “We have booked a case of suspicious death and investigations are on”, he said. Radhika Reddy is survived by her parents and a mentally challenged son. She was suffering from depression ever since she was separated from her husband a few months back.
