Dr CV Krishnaswamy, veteran medical scientist and physician of repute told there was no cause for panic as far as the coronavirus situation in the country is concerned.
“India’s fatality rate is just two per cent compared to that of US which is above five per cent. Moreover we have to undertake a thorough auditing of the deaths recorded in the country allegedly due to corona virus. Even newspapers report that those who succumbed to coronavirus were suffering from cardio vascular ailments, malfunctioning of kidneys or other medical disorders. My request to the media is to be extra careful while reporting about causalities,” said Dr Krishnaswamy.
