The Trinamool Congress on Tuesday reacted to BJP president Amit Shah's ‘grand plans’ for Bengal saying “let them first retain Delhi in 2019 and then proceed to Bengal because the people of India will team up to end the violent and intolerant rule of BJP in the next general elections."
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who was in Coochbehar pooh-poohed the BJP Government for planning Aadhaar certification for cows.“They are planning Aadhar cards for cows, tomorrow they will do the same for goats, ducks, chickens and even fishes before deciding what you shall eat and what you shall shun,” Mamata said.
