Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has taken several measures to ensure adequate security as well as smooth traffic movement during Global Investors’ Summit beginning from Friday, said Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad.Besides the sleuths of reserved and armed police forces, commandos of Special Protection Group as well as of Anti-Terrorists Squad will ensure foolproof security arrangements for VVIPs, guests as well as the President and the Prime Minister.
Giving these details here on Wednesday evening, Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad said that thousands of investors from India and abroad participating in the Global Investors’ Summit to be held in the capital Lucknow in compliance with the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, would not face any traffic inconvenience at all. He said for better traffic operations in Lucknow and other major cities of the state, such arrangements were already in place to ensure that the common man and investors did not face any kind of inconvenience. On receipt of complaints or information about traffic jams in any area, strict action would be ensured by fixing the responsibility of the senior officer in the area concerned, he said.
